Ordained Ministerial Counsellor Training
|
Welcome to the Pathways of Light Spiritual College ® Ordained Ministerial Counsellor and Certified Course Facilitator Training programme.
Pathways of Light offers training in a new kind of spiritual ministry based on A Course in Miracles principles that focuses on healing our own minds by helping to remove the barriers that limit our awareness of Love's presence and reconnects us to the guidance of our own Inner Wisdom.
The comprehensive 22-course curriculum first builds on Steps 1-3 of the programme and uses a practical system of self-study distance modules that include workbooks, experiential processes, pre-recorded guided meditations and one to one telephone/ Skype review sessions with your personal course facilitator.
The curriculum includes training in group and course facilitating, conducting spiritual ceremonies such as wedding and memorial services, plus one-on-one Accessing Inner Wisdom Counselling, 8-week Spiritual Awakening and Healing Inner Child group courses and Relationship Counselling.
Step 4 focuses on the development of counselling, leadership and course facilitator skills that is conducted via teleconference with other ministerial candidates over two-weekends and results in Ordained Ministerial Counsellor Certification by the Pathways of Light Spiritual College Advisory Council.
Your Ordained Ministerial status qualifies you to perform wedding and funeral services and other ceremonies of life transition (in accordance with your local laws) and as a Certified Course Facilitator you are approved to lead all Pathways of Light courses in group or one to one sessions. International students are welcome!
Each course includes:
- Guided meditations, processes and study materials from the course on audio CD's.
- Work sheets which guide you through the study material and help you apply what you are learning to your daily life.
- Laminated reminder cards that help you apply the course ideas.
- Binder conveniently organized with all course materials.
- 2-3 facilitated review hours with rev. Cheryl
