2009 Bridge of Peace Union Ceremony

This was an amazing event where women from all over the world attended to share their cultural and spiritual views with each other in the hopes of reaching out in global peace. The event featured the "Bridge of Peace" union ceremony where over 250 women were partnered with another woman in order to develop a friendship over the next year. The event was organised by my friend Patricia Earle who is the vice-president of the Women's Federation for World Peace.

I brought my daughter along and friend Ruth. The day included speakers (The Lady Mayoress of Birmingham and Baroness Sandeep Verma and Councillor Salma Yaqoob), fantastic international food and cultural entertainment. This was my second event and it was even better than the first!

Miracles in the Midlands Group!

This was a fantastic night at our Miracles in the Midlands free book study in Birmingham. We watched the DVD "Leap" with Gary Renard and others metaphysical experts.

My friend Ruth brought her PowerPoint projector and huge screen, but for lack of our IT skills we ended up watching it on the lap-top. It was still great fun and we plan to watch the "Matrix" next week. What a blessing to enjoy life with like-minded friends!

Being the Light Conference
London -- 2008

The conference was fantastic! It was my first one here in the UK and to be asked to be a presenter was a real honour... I was awed by the amazing love and light being shared by all of the speakers and students and I felt completely blessed in the presence of so much wisdom and joy.  My workshop was on giving and receiving and it was well received. A meditation I used was written by a student Elizabeth Griffin who lives in Italy and used a Tibetan Singing Bowl, which everyone seemed to love!

I can't wait until 2010...

Barbara's Ordination Ceremony
2008 -- The Hague

This was such a wonderful occasion I can barely express my love and gratitude. Rev. Barbara and I studies together for two year's before she completed her Pathways of Light Ministerial Counsellor training programme and when she did she asked if I would conduct her ordination ceremony. We co-wrote the service and then she brought me and my husband up to Holland for the event.

She had so many loving friends surrounding her to support her work and the venue in the Hague was absolutely charming (and old). After the ceremony we had refreshments and the brother of the church took my husband Mark and I on a tour of the breathtaking gardens. In which, he had himself created original, spiritually based works of art. Needless to say, I was completely inspired.

Carers Day -- 2008
Trinity Church
Shrewsbury

This was another amazing event that gave me an opportunity to share love with so many people. I coordinated and conducted the event for the day... My husband Mark made a presentation on the complimentary therapy Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and we had an amazing young man who recently published a book about his experiences caring for his father called "Take Me Home: Parkinson's, My Father Myself."

After the talks, we had a wonderful lunch and massages, EFT sessions and chocolate were had by all! The day ended with lots of hugs and kisses and everyone feeling deeply cared for and appreciated. I know I did!

Meet the Family!

My family and I moved to the UK in 2005 after originally planning to move to Portugal so that I can work with a psychologist there who practiced Attitudinal Healing and invited me to offer courses at her healing centre. Well, after spending a less expensive summer in Prague, our inner guidance shifted and we decided to come to Britain which is Mark's original home...

Our first year in England was such an adventure. In fact, I think in many ways I'm still adjusting to the change and everyday I'm discovering new and amazing things about England that continue to remind me how much love there is in the world!

Our daughter Hannah moved back to California after almost two years because she missed her friends, but our son still lives in the UK with us. Hannah is planning on moving back however next year and I couldn't be happier. Still, I'm so grateful for all of the blessings my life holds as I continue to remember the truth of who I am and all of my brothers and sisters along with me.
